Dalit Gurevich Perpinal joined Central Synagogue in 2002. She worked for six years with three-year-olds, and six years in the Purple Room. This is Dalit’s first year as Head Teacher in the Green Room. Born in Israel, Dalit graduated from Haifa University and holds a degree in art and education. Before joining Central Synagogue, she taught Hebrew School at Manhattan’s Park Avenue Synagogue, art in an elementary and high school in Israel, and served as a soldier/teacher in the Israel Defense Forces. Dalit is also an accomplished artist and has participated in solo and group exhibitions in New York and Israel. She lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn, with her husband, Moti, and son, Jonathan.
