Repairing the World
Repairing the World
Tikkun olam, or repairing the world, is a bedrock value of Jewish faith. Practicing it is not only a way for us to make our world a better place, but it strengthens our Jewish identity and demonstrates our values.
The Central in Action Leadership Team guides and oversees Central’s justice initiatives, which focus mainly on mass incarceration, immigration reform, climate justice, and food insecurity. Currently led by Central members Amy Glickman and Scott Resnik, Central in Action invites the broader community to engage with networks of New York communities to support and spark deeper compassion and social change.
