Our winter days are beginning to get longer, and the increasing amount of light through every window in our sanctuary is so welcome at this time of the year. Our foyer’s north and south windows, a perfect combination of natural light and artistic design, immediately draw the eye upon entering our sanctuary building.

These windows were designed by our architect, Henry Fernbach. We see this design in his 1869 presentation watercolor which showed how his proposed building would look. The colors are very compatible with the pinkish-brown sandstone of the exterior and set the tone for exuberant pattern and light throughout our building.
