High Holy Days 2021 & Updated Worship Policies
Our ability to be together in person for services—Shabbat as well as the High Holidays—will always be guided by the most up-to-date medical information from federal, state, and city authorities, as well as from our committee of expert lay leaders. Given emerging data on the Delta variant, the COVID Task Force has made the unanimous recommendation to require masking of all worshipers at all services, regardless of vaccination status.

Mental Health Series: “How Are You Really?”
Drawing inspiration from the Mental Health Coalition’s “How are you, really” campaign, Central held two separate events — one focused on young children and adolescents, and one on adults — on December 2 and 3, 2020. Journalist and Central congregant Abigail Pogrebin moderated this two-part virtual series, which confronts the very real mental health challenges of this moment, and offers insights and practical tools as to how to navigate this destabilizing time.
