We're thrilled to be joined once again by Maestro Cesare Civetta, Music Director of the Beethoven Festival Orchestra for "A Musical Seder With Cesare Civetta"!

And just what does a Musical Seder sound like, Cesare Civetta style? Maestro Civetta will explore music from many genres and traditions in seven different languages, such as Handel, Rossini, Verdi, Spirituals, and favorites such as Dayenu, Chad Gaya, Ha Lachma Anya, Shir Hamaalos, and Hodu Lashem. We'll hear from legendary performers like Paul Robeson, Yehoram Gaon, Moshe Oysher, Josef Rossele Rosenblatt, Shoshana Damari and Itzhak Perlman.

Here's a preview of the program: https://youtu.be/bWwYsYWTUig.

This program will be presented on Zoom. Zoom information will be sent out the day before the event.

This is the fourth installment in our WORDS & MUSIC series, bringing extraordinary makers and thinkers to Central to explore the stories and sounds that shape Jewish tradition.
