Date: Sunday, January 27 at 8:45 am
Location: Meet at Community House
As they say in Hamilton, “take a break,” from “the greatest city in the world,” and explore “the room where it happened,” with your LCLJ family!
Spend a day with the Central community in Philly as we visit the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution were signed by our Founding Fathers. We’ll also visit the National Museum of American Jewish History for an interactive tour and scavenger hunt that traces the experience of American Jews. (There’s also a camp section where you can look up a camp and view pictures and memories from different years!)
The trip is $20/person and includes transportation to/from Central, tickets for attractions, and snacks for the bus ride. Lunch is not provided but we will stop for lunch at the food court near the National Museum of American Jewish History.
Meet at Central Synagogue Community House at 8:45 am on January 27. The bus will leave promptly at 9:00 am.
Space is limited for this opportunity, so register now! If you have any questions, please contact Mirit Sands at [email protected] or 212-838-5122, ext. 4091.
Today more than ever we rely on you to support our educational, community, and spiritual programs that are so important to Central members and the Jewish community-at-large. If you are able, please support our Annual Yom Kippur Appeal today with a tax-deductible contribution.
