Join Rabbi Stephanie Kolin in a training with the New Sanctuary Coalition that will make it possible for you to help immigrants who have been identified by ICE for possible deportation, must appear in Immigration Court, or check-in with ICE officials regularly. These meetings are extremely vulnerable moments for undocumented immigrants and having someone accompany them through this often intimidating process, makes an enormous difference. The expert trainers have worked with Central members in the past. Twenty Central members have been trained thus far and have shared powerful stories of their experiences.
The evening will begin with dinner at 6:30 PM, followed by a one-time training session beginning at 7 PM.
For additional ways to take action on behalf of immigrants, please visit our Community Organizing page.
Today more than ever we rely on you to support our educational, community, and spiritual programs that are so important to Central members and the Jewish community-at-large. If you are able, please support our Annual Yom Kippur Appeal today with a tax-deductible contribution.
