Daily Prayer – Three Communities, Three Opportunities
March 24, 2025 | General News | Messages From Leadership | Programs and Events
This letter was sent to the congregation on Monday, March 24.
Dear Central Family,
Your Central Clergy love seeing so many members and visitors at our Shabbat worship — a welcome respite at the end of the week.
As Reform Jews, we know it is less common to practice daily worship with a minyan (a quorum of 10 people). In these hectic modern times, we invite you to consider this mindful ancient practice.
Central Synagogue has long offered a lay-led Morning Minyan at 8:00 am. We are partnering with Congregation Rodeph Sholom (UWS) and Temple Emanu-El (UES), who also offer daily Minyan, and invite all three communities to join these virtual, lay-led services as often as suits your schedule – 15 minutes a day, every day: morning, noon and night.

Warmly,
Cantor Dan Mutlu
