Your Legacy at Central
Your Legacy at Central
We invite you to consider expressing your commitment to our community and providing essential support for the congregation by including Central Synagogue in your estate plans.
You can provide for Central’s future by making the synagogue a beneficiary of any of the following:
- A simple bequest in your will—for a set dollar amount or a percentage of the residual
- All or a portion of your individual retirement account (IRA)
- A new or existing life insurance policy
- A charitable remainder trust
You should consult with your professional advisors to determine the best way for you to include Central Synagogue in your estate plans.
L’Dor V’Dor Society
L’dor V’dor means “from generation to generation.” Just as we use this phrase when the Torah is passed from grandparents to parents to a bat/bar/b’nei mitzvah, we use it to honor those esteemed congregants who have indicated their intention to provide for the future of Central Synagogue through a legacy gift. By making Central Synagogue a beneficiary of your estate plans and joining the L’Dor V’Dor Society, you will ensure that your values are inextricably linked to future generations.
Together we can ensure that our children and grandchildren will have the same firm commitment to Judaism and progressive values that our ancestors did before us.
