Join Upper East Side shlicha (Israel Embissary) Michal Abramoff and beloved Rabbi Cantor Shani Ben-Or for a musical Lunch & Learn to learn how different Israeli groups are imbuing the often-controversial holiday of Yom Yerushalayim with new meaning. Having both lived in Jerusalem and experiencing the beauty and complexity of the culture, Michal and Shani will discuss the holiday’s history and share their personal perspectives. Please note: This is now a fully virtual event, which will run 12:30-1:30 pm.
