Understanding Gun Violence in NYC: What is Our Communal Responsibility?

Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

In Person (Pavilion); Virtual (Zoom Webinar)

As we face unprecedented gun violence in New York, please join Central Synagogue, JCRC-NY, and UJA-Federation of NY for a community-wide discussion of this critical issue.

This session will be moderated by Rabbi Menachem Creditor (Rabbis Against Gun Violence) and will include leading & local expert panelists. Anchored by our Jewish values and public policy, we will explore our collective response to this crisis and the call to action.

Panelists include: A.T. Mitchell (Mayor Eric Adams' Gun Violence Prevention Task Force), Natasha Christopher (Mothers for Safe Cities), and Andrew Endelman (Everytown for Gun Safety). Rabbi Hilly Haber will deliver closing remarks.
