Forgiveness and Redemption: A S’lichot Performance With Re-Entry Theater of Harlem

Explore the themes of S’lichot—forgiveness and atonement—through the unique lens of the Re-Entry Theater of Harlem (RTH). The evening commences with an impactful RTH performance ritualizing the return to society post-incarceration, setting the stage for a thought-provoking panel discussion featuring Rabbi Hilly Haber, Central members Jocelyn Markowitz and Yvonne Winchell, RTH director Alex Anderson, and the incredible RTH cohort. Arrive at 7:30 pm for refreshments, followed by an 8:00 performance that concludes in time for our S’lichot service. Experience this poignant meditation on redemption, guided by those navigating the challenging path of teshuvah (repentance/return).
