People of the Book (Swap): The Future is Peace

Join us for a deeply moving conversation with Maoz Inon and Aziz Abu Sarah, bestselling authors of The Future is Peace: A Shared Journey Across the Holy Land. The two men have both lost family in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but instead of turning against each other, they came together to embark on a journey through Israel, Palestine, and beyond in search of unity and mutual humanity. Rabbi Angela Buchdahl will introduce their conversation, which will take place in the Main Sanctuary.

Before and after the conversation, join us for our popular annual book swap event—the spot to discuss your favorite books, meet featured authors, and swap pre-loved books with fellow readers. During the book swap portion of the program, attendees will have the opportunity to schmooze with the authors and with each other in the Pavilion. Attendance is free, but guests are expected to contribute a book (or two! or three!) for the book swap. Each attendee will receive one free copy of The Future is Peace: A Shared Journey Across the Holy Land. (Please note: only one book is available per household, while supplies last.) Guests will be able to pick up as many pre-loved books as they wish. Light refreshments will be served.
