New York’s population is aging rapidly, and the state is facing an urgent crisis: we don’t have enough home care workers to care for older adults and disabled people. In fact, New York currently faces the worst home care shortage in the nation. We need to combat the state’s dangerous home care shortage to keep older adults and disabled people safe, and the way to do it is by passing The “Fair Pay for Home Care Act,” which would raise home care wages to at least $35,000 a year on average.

Join members of the Central community and clergy to learn more about the Fair Pay for Elder Care Act and how you can get involved. The event will culminate in Havdalah led by Cantor Dan Mutlu.
