SOLD OUT: How to Die Well: Death & Legacy in the Tanakh with Rabbinic Intern Chelsea Feuchs
Wednesdays, March 1 through May 3, 2023, 2:00–3:15 pm
Our texts and traditions don’t shy away from grappling with mortality and legacy; in this class, neither will we. As we foster the time and space to wrestle with these issues, we’ll read about the deaths of six different figures in the Tanakh, identify examples of the best (and worst) practices for facing the inevitable, and explore how we can apply those lessons to our own lives. Both the structure and content of this course will be based on Rabbinic Intern Chelsea Feuchs’ rabbinic thesis, and students will be encouraged to complete an optional final project.
