Cantor Jenna Pearsall’s Installation

We are proud to officially welcome Cantor Jenna Pearsall to the Central community at a special Shabbat service. Joining us will be guest speakers Cantor Neil Michaels of Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, MI., and Rabbi Janet Liss of North Country Reform Temple-Ner Tamid in Glen Cove, NY. Cantor Michaels works at Cantor Pearsall's home synagogue, where he was her first cantorial mentor as they began singing duets together on the bimah when she was only 13 years old. Rabbi Janet Liss was Cantor Pearsall's clergy partner at her first internship in Cantorial school where they worked together for two years.
Cantor Jenna Pearsall says of this honor, "I can't wait to feel the blessing of being officially installed as a part of the Central Clergy team. The Clergy are so inspiring, and I'm excited to deepen my connections with our community as we pray and sing together over the coming years."
Doors open at 5:30 pm and there will be a festive oneg following services.
