Over eight weeks, under the guidance of instructor Joe Septimus, you’ll experience this age-old Jewish tradition – a unique blend of lectures and interactive dialogue – in a fresh new way. Together, we’ll explore the beauty and complexity of Jewish values while cultivating skills in textual analysis, chavruta study (peer-based text grappling), media exploration, frontal teaching, and group discourse as we delve into Biblical, Talmudic, medieval, modern, and contemporary sources. Optionally, maintain a Values Journal to capture ideas and life lessons for your ongoing Jewish journey.
