20s & 30s FIRST FRIDAY: Light

Friday, December 2, 2022, 6:30–8:45 pm

In-Person: Pavilion

As the days get shorter (…booooo…) and the nights grow long, light – or lack thereof – is on our minds now more than ever. Though that’s not ~quite~ why Hanukkah was invented (something something Maccabees something), we’re grateful for the holiday opportunity to stick a menorah in our window when the sun goes down mid-afternoon (…boooooo…). This December, add a little light with Central Synagogue 20s & 30s as we sparkle our way through FIRST FRIDAY: Light. On December 2nd, we’ll gather for a delicious dinner, a spirited service, and a slew of tasty holiday treats (AKA sufganiyot AKA doughnuts) that will get you into the holiday season, stat. Join us for a Shabbat-y kickoff to the (warm, bright, shiny, cozy month that includes the) Festival of Lights!

This program will cost $18 to attend. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if this cost would prove a barrier to attending.
