Eve is delighted to be in her second year at Central Synagogue as a full-time educator. After graduating from Hofstra University in 2017 with a BA in Education and English, she moved to NYC with a limited budget and an open mind. Her first year in the city, Eve taught religious school at three congregations, including Central’s “LCLJ Downtown.” She was also fortunate enough to teach reading and writing at an elementary school on the Upper East Side. Last year, she joined the Central Synagogue staff full time.
Eve’s Jewish journey began at Temple Emanuel in Worcester, MA, where her years in Hebrew School and youth group laid the foundation for her love of Jewish learning. She spent nine summers at URJ Crane Lake Camp as a camper and counselor, and her teen years as a participant in NFTY-Northeast. Eve continued to foster her passion for Judaism in college, where she experienced the joys of pluralistic Judaism and served as a leader of Hofstra Hillel.
In her spare time, Eve enjoys rock climbing, watching Jeopardy!, and Tuesday night dinners with her sister. She can’t wait to continue learning with the Central and LCLJ community!
