Nancy Chemtob

Trustee


Nancy Chemtob is a founding partner at Chemtob Moss & Forman, LLP in Manhattan where she practices in all areas of family and matrimonial law. She has significant litigation and trial experience in New York’s family and supreme courts, and has briefed and successfully argued before New York’s appellate courts.

Nancy is a member of the New York State Bar Association (Family Law Section), American Bar Association (Family Law Section), New York County Lawyers Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. She is a co-founder of Friends of Newborn Medicine, which was created to support the Jo Carole and Ronald S. Lauder Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Mount Sinai Hospital. She is also a member of Art for Life, and has been on the Board of Mount Sinai Children’s Center Foundation since 2005, and Mount Sinai’s Child Behavioral Health and Science Center since 2015.

Nancy received her bachelor’s degree in international relations from Syracuse University and received her JD from the University of Miami School of Law. Nancy has three children: Jack, Oliver, and Spencer.  She has been an active member of Central Synagogue for over 20 years.
