Trustee
Jeffrey Silberstein serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of the Mount Sinai Health System and Chief Operating Officer of Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. During his 18-year tenure, Jeffrey has helped direct the health system’s extraordinary expansion and development.
A native of New York City, Jeffrey received his bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Pittsburgh, and his MBA, with a focus on finance and international business, from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He currently resides in Manhattan with his husband, Scott Goldsmith, MD, an Associate Dean at Weill Cornell Medical College, and their children, Elizabeth and Miller, twins who celebrated their b’nei mitzvah at Central Synagogue in 2018.
