In the book’s foreword by Dr. Verghesee, he suggests not only reading When Breath Becomes Air, but also “listening to the overwhelming response it prompts in you”. I guarantee that finishing this book and then forgetting about it is simply not an option.” We agree with Dr. Verghese and invite you to join us for a reflective discussion about this New York Times bestselling memoir, led by our congregant Susan Schlechter, PhD. The sessions are independent from each other and we hope to see many new faces for this meaningful gathering.
