Lily is thrilled to be returning to the LCLJ as an educator this academic year. Growing up in Mamaroneck, New York, Lily’s brand of Judaism was defined by chicken parmesan Shabbat dinners every Friday evening, and family “Sharing Shabbat” services each Saturday morning at Westchester Reform Temple. Her Jewish education developed (and continues to develop!) through many summers at Camp Modin, an internship at the Union for Reform Judaism, and most recently, as co-president and Reform minyan leader at Northwestern University’s Hillel. Lily graduated from Northwestern in 2016 with a B.S. in American Studies and Journalism, and served as an Americorps teaching assistant in the South Bronx prior to joining the LCLJ team. Lily is excited to continue to create engaging learning opportunities for LCLJ students and their families, and is especially looking forward to leading the LCLJ Shabbat community.
In her free time, Lily enjoys sampling the seemingly endless variety of bagels in NYC, spending time with friends and family, and reading both junky and high-quality mysteries.
