Keren is from West Palm Beach, Florida, and has spent most of her life in the Sunshine State. She is both a Knight and a Gator with her B.S. in Political Science from the University of Central Florida and her M.A. in Public Affairs from the University of Florida. While at UCF, Keren discovered her true passion for serving the community through nonprofit work. All of her experience in the nonprofit sector surrounded one issue: education. Working for nonprofits with diverse missions, from stopping the spread of disease to improving community’s quality of life, Keren knows that a major component of making the world a better place is ensuring everyone has the opportunity to learn.

Keren’s Jewish journey includes spending 10 summers at URJ Camp Coleman in Cleveland, Georgia. She also is an alumna of Urban Mitzvah Corps in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Both of these experiences provided Keren with a true feeling of Jewish community.

In her free time, Keren enjoys crafting, cooking, and rooting for both of her college teams.
