Erin received her Jewish education at the David Posnack Hebrew Day School in South Florida where she grew up. Through programs like Judaica High and Akiva Leadership, Erin stayed connected to her Jewish kehila (community). After graduating summa cum laude with a BS in Telecommunication-News Broadcasting at the University of Florida, Erin decided that teaching was what she really wanted to do. Erin became a middle school math teacher, and then founded a private tutoring company where she tutored students of all ages in general academics and Judaic studies.
Prior to Central Synagogue, Erin worked at Greenwich Reform Synagogue in Greenwich, Connecticut, where she wore a lot of hats: 6th grade Religious School Teacher, Youth Group Advisor, and Assistant to both the Executive Director and Rabbi.
Erin holds an MA in Education Leadership, Management, and Policy. In her spare time, Erin loves watching documentaries, going to the gym, and researching her genealogy. She lives in Greenwich, Connecticut, with her husband, Chris, and son, Sebastian.
